The KEYPHI instrument is a fully automated permeameter and porosimeter used to determine properties of plug sized core samples at reservoir confining pressure. The gas permeability determination is based on the unsteady state pressure falloff method whereas the pore volume is determined using the Boyles law technique. The instrument is provided with a unique automatic core sample loading mechanism which can process multiple samples without any human intervention. In addition, the instrument offers reporting and calculation facilities thanks to its user-friendly windows operated software. Klinkenberg slip factor "b", Klinkenberg corrected permeability, inertial coefficients, sample bulk volume, sample porosity, grain volume are automatically determined and presented on customised report.
