Large Stirred Pressure Vessel

The FSV series vessel is specifically designed to stir large volume of fluid under pressure and temperature. The vessel consists of a cylindrical metal chamber equipped with a bolted sealed head and a manual bottom drain valve. It features an internal heavy duty stirring system, made of a motor drive magnetically coupled to an internal stirrer shaft with attached anchor for stirring viscous liquids. The head is provided with one hand operated valve, a thermocouple for measuring the temperature within the vessel, a pressure gauge and a safety burst disc. A control panel controls the motor speed drive for stirrer. Temperature and pressure transducers can be interfaced to the panel if there are needed. The unit can also be interfaced to a computer for remote control. The complete vessel is mounted on an easily moveable trolley with an optional chain pulley lifting system for lifting the head with minimum effort.



GOR Sample Pycnometer

This U-tube pycnometer is used for determining the GOR of a live oil. It is based on a flow through vessel equipped with two needle valves and a burst disc. It is provided with a tare weight and calibrated volume. A predefined volume of lived oil sample is transferred into the pycnometer and the gas is released from the pycnometer to the gasometer by opening the valve slowly for determining the gas volume. The volume of flashed liquid remaining in the pycnometer is determined by measuring its weight and density. The GOR can then be derived.

Recombination Cell Apparatus

The RCA 1000 instrument is based on a high pressure, high temperature recombination cell in which oil and gas solutions are injected at pre-defined volume, stirred together, heated at a desired temperature and pressurized at pressure above the saturation pressure for few hours to give a homogeneous mixture of the reservoir fluid. The instrument comes with an recombination cell jacketed with an heating mantel for temperature control , a magnetic driven stirrer, a motorized rocking system used in conjonction with a mixing ring in the sample chamber of the cell for proper agitation of the heavy oil samples and a temperature and pressure display panel. The top of the cell is equipped with a bull's eye window to visualize the saturation pressure.



Gas Sample Restoration Apparatus

Very useful during the restoration of gas sample, the apparatus enables to heat and agitate the sample to the reservoir temperature. One gas sample cylinder can be processed by the rocker. Vinci Hydraulic Intensifiers

The HI series are dual cavity cylinders equipped with a low pressure (LP) bore at one end and a high pressure (HP) bore at the other end. The pistons in each cylinder bore are connected by a solid rod. When pressurized fluid enters the larger bore, the fluid in the smaller bore is compressed to a pressure multiplied by the ratio of areas on the two pistons. Consequently, pressures up to 150Kpsi can be achieved by using a commercially available lower pressure (10 Kpsi) pump. Material of construction is either stainless steel or hastelloy.

Fluid Transfer Vessel

The fluid transfer vessels uses a glass tube embraced in two end plugs which are held in place with two aluminium tie bars. The glass tube is protected by an external polycarbonate tube in case of failure of the glass. The top end plug can be removed easily to load the fluid in the vessel. The fluid is transferred from the vessel to another accumulator by applying air pressure on the top port while the fluid passes through the bottom port of the vessel.



Mixer Cylinder

The MC series are double end piston type cylinders designed to store and mix any kind of fluids at pressure and temperature. The sample fluid is isolated from the secondary driving fluid with a floating piston and a magnetic mixer is located in the mixing sample chamber for proper agitation. The mixer is magnetically coupled to a drive system through the accumulator end cap which incorporates a permanent magnet driven by a direct current motor with variable speed. A mixer controller permits to stop, start and control the speed of the mixer. The cylinder can be operated in either upright or inverted orientation. Both end caps are provided with an inlet/outlet port for fluid introduction or fluid sampling.



Floating Piston Accumulators

The floating piston accumulators are available in a range of different volumes and pressure ratings. These can be constructed in different material such as stainless steel or hastelloy. The fluid seals use standard Viton ‘O’ rings and back up rings.
