The PT-TRC Series core holders are triaxial type core holders which are equipped with a number of pressure taps molded in the sleeve at discrete locations required by the end user. This design allows to monitor the pressure drop along the length of the core sample during fluid flow tests.These core holders are routinely used for fluid flow experiments. A unique feature of the TRC series core holder is that the sleeve remains in place and the core is loaded from one end without having to drain or refill the confining fluid. Independent axial pressure is applied via a floating distribution plug. An inlet and outlet distribution plug allows fluids and gases to be injected through the core sample. A unique feature of the TRC Series core holder is that the holder does not need to be completely disassembled to remove the core sample. By releasing the confining radial and axial pressure and unscrewing the eng plug, the core sample can be easily removed without exposing it to the annulus fluid. The coreholder can be configured for hassler loading, hydrostatic loading or triaxial loading.
