DMT Core Imaging Equipment

The CoreScan 3 scanner generates high-resolution planar images (up to 1016 dpi or 40 pixels per millimeter) or 360-degree images of drill cores, for analyzing with the CoreBase software. The integrated CoreScan 3 system and software allows for detailed images and analysis of core samples from petroleum, geothermal energy, and groundwater-protection projects.
